Granuloma annulare is an uncommon skin condition that has some clinical variation. A rare presentation is the subcutaneous form, which resembles a rheumatoid nodule. We present an exceptional case of a nodule occuring on the dorsum of the foot of a teenage girl that was so large that it required surgical excision to allow her to wear shoes.
