Meta-analysis is firmly established in clinical evaluation studies. There is consensus on how meta-analysis should be performed for therapy, which is evident from the more or less uniform method of presentation in the Cochrane Collaboration. This trend will certainly continue in the years to come. The article deals with these methods.
