Kimberley Martin has over six years of experience working in behavioural science research, primarily in the fields of population health monitoring and tobacco control. Kimberley has previously worked in the Behavioural Research and Evaluation Unit at Cancer Council SA and currently works in Tobacco Control Research and Evaluation within the Health Policy Centre Group. Kimberley has co-authored eight peer-reviewed publications and has delivered nine conference presentations, specifically in the areas of tobacco use amongst Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and sun protection.


Kimberley has also authored numerous tobacco control reports commissioned by Drug and Alcohol Services SA, as well as reports for state and territory Cancer Councils and the National Skin Committee. Kimberley has also been involved in multiple research and evaluation studies to inform health policy in South Australia such as assessing staff experiences of smoke-free health services policy and evaluations of anti-tobacco social marketing campaigns. Kimberley is also experienced in research project coordination, having previously coordinated projects such as the South Australian component of the Australian Schools Students Alcohol and Drug Survey and the National Early Childhood Sun Protection Survey.
