Kathleen is employed part time as a Research Assistant having recently completed a PhD/Masters of Psychology (Clinical) at The University of Adelaide. She is also a Registered Psychologist (Clinical Registrar) and Member of the APS. At SAHMRI she has undertaken a systematic scoping review for sugar-sweetened beverage consumption in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. She also assisted in a project measuring psychosocial outcomes for prostate cancer survivors. Her PhD at The University of Adelaide involved a pilot test and randomised controlled trial of a mindfulness-based therapy as a preventive intervention for children experiencing internalizing difficulties. Outcome variables included depression, anxiety, attention, and wellbeing.
