With an interest in health policy and program implementation, Katharine works on translating research to improve the quality of health services and health systems for Aboriginal people in South Australia. Katharine works across a range of research, centred around heart disease and stroke health and the continuum of care for Aboriginal people at risk of or living with cardiovascular diseases. Katharine is a current PhD Candidate and holds a Master of Health Economics and Policy from the University of Adelaide. Katharine has previously worked at the Heart Foundation (SA) across a broad spectrum from the built environment to acute care, and has tutored in Health Economics at both an undergraduate and postgraduate level.
