Mrs Jennifer McLean’s current role involves being responsible for the maintenance of the general cell lines and the Mesenchymal Stem cells used by the Leukaemia Research Group. Mrs McLean also processes the clinical trials specimens for various CML and ALL trials run by the Group. This includes isolation of primary cells of interest, their cryopreservation, and DNA and RNA extraction. Mrs McLean performs a wide variety of other roles within the laboratory as she uses her expertise to contribute to the work of many researchers within the group.
