Ecushla is a Senior Project Officer within Health Translation SA and is responsible for building capacity within the people and systems in SA to enable, drive and accelerate research translation. She is also a titleholder at the University of Adelaide.

Ecushla has a PhD in Medicine with broad experience in both basic science and health services research, as well as financial and not-for-profit operations management. Her recent research was translated into a tool to support the multi-disciplinary diagnosis and management of functional gut disorders through a partnership with the Gastroenterological Society of Australia.
She is passionate about building effective cross-sector partnerships to develop solutions and strategies that improve people’s health and wellbeing.
