Personal profile

Public Profile

I graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in 2011 and joined the Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS)/Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML) Research Group headed by Dr Devendra Hiwase in 2014. As a full-time researcher, I closely with scientists and clinicians to understand the pathogenesis of MDS and related myeloid neoplasms using advance molecular tools such as next-generation sequencing and magnetic bead-based immunoassays. I am involved in several clinical and molecular studies which aim to increase our understanding of the pathogenesis of MDS and related myeloid neoplasms by characterising their mutational profiles, identifying novel therapeutic targets and correlating mutation profiles with patient outcomes.
