Research Interests

Currently I am developing distributive workflows for HPC environments to identify gene fusions and genetic variants with functional significance in Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL) and Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia (CML). I work with the Core Bioinformatics Facility at SAHMRI, with funding provided by the Leukaemia research group.

Other tasks include working as the bioinformatician for Dr. Kate Sanders and her research group at The University of Adelaide. My main tasks include analysis pipeline/software development (genome assembly, population genetics and comparative genomics), project guidance and student help.
